Ryan grew up attending church, but only came to understand the gospel in 2000 at college. He received a BA and an MA in Biblical Studies. He met his wife, Katey, at seminary, and they got married in 2006. They’ve attended Park Hills since 2013 and have 5 children: Maggie, Grace, John, Ellie, and Abbie. They like to read, play board games, and go hiking and camping. Ryan teaches humanities at a Christian high school and began as an elder at Park Hills in 2017.
