Russ came to understand his need for God’s forgiveness in Christ at a young age through the witness of his parents. He grew up in Illinois but moved to San Antonio in 2011. He has a Master’s degree in instructional design and came to Austin in 2016, where he works in a design role at a tech company. Russ loves teaching and discipling, and also enjoys outdoor activities like running, mountain biking, and kayaking.
